Chapter [1]
She forgave her parents as always. They just wanted the best for her. A nice life, great education, and a wonderful daughter in general. She appreciated them working so hard to give her the things she wanted, although she never asked for much to be honest. Although the ancestry contained witchcraft. Rose too inherited her own powers from her bloodline.
Rolling out of bed she stretched out her arms, let out a big gasp of a yawn, and wiped her eyes to be rid of the sleepiness. Rose stumbled to her feet using the wall to support her from falling back down as she dragged her feet towards the bathroom to take her morning shower, and finally get ready for her very first class.
"How clumsy can I get?" She questioned herself, as she brushed off the dirt on the back of her skirt.
Moving from one city
to another, she just got fed up of new surroundings every time her
parents moved out. But now Rose had turned 18 she could finally have a
life of her own, even though she was in her last year of high school.
Lucky enough her parents had been doing well in their new jobs to give
her the chance to have her own place. Although it was little, it was
just right. No more moving around, no more hassle.
Although she was nervous attending a brand new school, Rose pulled herself together. Her hand slammed against the alarm that always let off that horrid sound she just couldn't stand. It was like a child just screeching down your ears... Non the less it did its purpose to get her up every morning like usual at 7am.
Not realising the time she rushed her hair, put on some makeup and scoffed down her breakfast before looking round for her books.
As she leaned out to grab just one of them she noticed a figure in corner of her eye. As her eyes rose upwards to see who it was the person looked right back at her, which made her turn her face away, although her curiosity got the better of her and she turned back to look at him.
He was already walking away. Rose's expression turned to a slight frown of disappointment as she stared at his jet black hair. She noticed he was wearing some sort of uniform, which consisted of a white crumpled shirt, black trousers, and black shoes. Rose thought nothing of it and continued on.
Rose ran as fast as she could taking what she thought would be the short cut through the park, which seemed to be the most terrible idea as she got mud all over the bottom of her shoes. As she carries on her rapid pace she glances over to what seemed to be jet black hair, a white crumpled shirt, black trousers, and black shoes.
She suddenly tripped and fell, dropping her book along with herself to the ground as everything came to a halt. Rose's mind had been distracted by the same occurrence of the person she had seen earlier in the window, which ended up with her tripping on her own foot. She fell back on her back side grabbed her books, and rushed herself on her feet.
"How clumsy can I get?" She questioned herself, as she brushed off the dirt on the back of her skirt.
A distant chuckle came from behind her. Rose's eyebrows rotated inwards in anger of hearing this laughter, clenching her fists, before she spun round to face him. As she was about to throw some bad words, her voice just stopped in it's tracks. Rose was memorized by his mysterious gaze out into the sky. She stopped and stared at him for the next few moments, before realizing he was staring right back at her, with a slight cheeky grin
Rose carried on feeling ever so slightly red faced. Her shy expression made him smile more. Rose swiveled away quickly moving on, slightly stomping her feet along the way.
"I'm late again" She signed to herself, with her face in her palm.
